​       Brooke Penn, OD

​​​Dr. Penn was born and raised in a suburb of Kansas City known as Overland Park, Kansas. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and then went on to receive her doctorate degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

At SCO, Dr. Penn gained experience in contact lenses, vision therapy, ocular disease, post-surgical management, low vision, and primary care. She was inducted into a prestigious honor society known as Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honors Society. She actively participated in various clubs such as Optometric Private Practice Club and College of Vision Development Club. She spent her final year of optometry school at clinical externships in Commerce City, CO and Bethel, AK. On her externships, she became comfortable working with patients of all ages but found that she particularly loved working in pediatrics. She even had the opportunity to perform comprehensive exams on children in a remote Alaskan village.

In 2024, Dr. Penn moved out to Colorado after completing her clinical training. She is passionate about the management of ocular disease, treatment of Dry Eye Syndrome, and providing quality eye care.

In her free time, Dr. Penn enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. On the weekends, you can most likely find her hiking somewhere in Rocky Mountain National Park.​

tyler  persson, od, MS, FAAO

​​Originally from North Dakota, Dr. Persson joined his wife, Marie in practice in 2013. He is a graduate of The Ohio State College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude while concurrently fulfilling requirements for a Masters of Science in Vision Science. His Masters thesis focused on the intricacies of eye and head movements during a baseball swing, research that was stimulated by his interest in the visual system and its association with athletic performance.  ​Doctor Persson served as President of Ohio State’s Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, was part of the inaugural class of Student Fellows within the American Academy of Optometry, and earned membership to the prestigious Gold Key Optometric Honor Society, an organization limited to 10% of optometric students nationally. 

Internships include University Hospitals in Cleveland, the Veteran’s Affairs hospital in Dayton, Ohio, and the Specialty contact lens and binocular vision clinics at Ohio State University.  In 2013 Dr. Persson earned Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. 
Dr. Persson has a specialty interest in medical contact lenses, with extensive experience fitting scleral contact lenses, gas permeable contact lenses, and hybrid contact lens designs. 

During his free time he enjoys skiing, biking, golfing, watching college hockey and spending time with Marie.
